How Does the Most Valuable Kids System Work?

Through the MVK website, www.mostvaluablekids.org, ticket holders unable to attend an event for which they hold tickets can donate them to a worthy cause.

Recipient organizations receive an e-mail notifying them of a donation, then log on to the website and claim the tickets they can use. Tickets are then couriered or mailed from donor to recipient or reissued and left at the box office for the agency to pick up.

Each unused ticket that is not donated represents a lost opportunity to:

• Provide a disadvantaged youth in the community with a rare opportunity to experience a live sports or entertainment event.
• Pack the stadium, generating added buzz and concession sales for the home team.
• Offer the ticket holder the tax benefits that come from donating unused tickets.

MVK goes directly to the venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Meadowlands, and Yankee Stadium, as well as to corporate season ticket holders, and ticketing agencies to become the conduit for dispersing tickets to children’s organizations.
