Carolyn Spector, J.D., LL.M.

Carolyn Spector is the newly appointed Director of Most Valuable Kids of Greater New York. Most recently, Carolyn served as the Executive Director of Walk to End Domestic Violence, a not-for-profit organization whose goals are to raise awareness and educate the community about the epidemic of domestic violence, as well as to raise funds to support victims of domestic violence and organizations that provide direct services to them.

Carolyn formerly served as Deputy Director of the Criminal Justice Division of Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest provider of services to victims of crime, where she was responsible for the daily operation of more than thirty crime victim programs located throughout the five boroughs.

Carolyn also held the position of Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Carolyn has her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, a Masters in Science degree from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Criminal Justice, as well as an LL.M. in criminal law and constitutional law from New York University.
